Storage Instructions

Onions can be stored at room temperature (18-20 °C) or in the refrigerator (2-4 °C). Leave the onions in a net or paper bag, do not use plastic.

How long will it last?

Stored correctly, onions will last 2-3 months in the refrigerator. 1-2 weeks at room temperature.

Tips

Avoid storing onions in the vegetable drawer as this has a slightly higher temperature than the rest of the refrigerator, which causes the onion to think it is time to bloom and reduces quality.
