Storage Instructions

Tomatoes are best at room temperature, as it is the best way to allow them to retain their flavor and aroma. Ripe tomatoes should be stored at room temperature on a table or similar out of direct sunlight, for best effect the tomatoes should not be touching each other.

About one week.

Tips

Tomatoes secrete a lot of ethylene, so be careful to keep foods (e.g. bananas) that are sensitive to ethylene away from tomatoes. If the tomatoes are overripe, they can be stored in the refrigerator to give them an extra 2-3 days of shelf life.
